| OUR NEW SYSTEM
Welcome to Max Hair Links, the most innovative, cold hair extension method available on the market. has received world recognition this method has in British and Australia.
Max Hair Links is a strand-by-strand hair extension method that used tiny, color coated, links for attachment. You simply thread the hair through the colored link and crimp it with crimping tools. We offer a variety of link colors so hair and links match, making it almost impossible to see the attachment.
Hair Links elimnated pressure on the client's head by fitting the extensions precisely to the scalp. Once attached, they can be combed easily. Absolutely no glue, no wax, no polymers and no heat are used for attachment. Also, no solvents are needed to remove the hair; just simple squeeze the link with a player in opposite direction it will loose the tube and the simple slide the hair.
Our extension hanks are made of top-quality human hair - easy to care for and comfortable to wear. The hair is simple to apply and remove, and can be reattached after several months of use by the client.
Max Hair Links FAQs
- Can I reuse the hair?
The nice thing about this system is that you can reuse the hair. Unlike any other sytem, the hair can be reused up to 2-3 times for blond shades and the darker colors can be used up to 3-4 times.
- Can I perm the hair?
Yes, you can do it, but commercial hair is very difficult to process, we recommend you just order hair with the curl you desire.
- Can I color hair?
Yes. It can be colored. It is recommended that you do not use any more than 20 volume peroxide. When going darker, you would apply color first on the hair without extensions for about 5 minutes and then apply everywhere else. When going lighter apply color on the hair without extensions wait 10 minutes before apply the rest. Check the hair more often than usual because the links are made of will speed up the process of the reaction, If you see that the hair is getting to light to fast, just shampoo.
- Can I use straightener on my client's hair?
Yes, but
you should put it only on the new growth of the client. It is very important with any process you choose, that you don't get any chemicals on the links. It may cause them to break down and possibly fall out.
You Get What You Pay For
Tthe length of time a weave will last depends on the type of hair that is used, how well it is maintained and how fast your natural hair grows. “Most weaves will last anywhere from three to five months if done by a professional and cared for properly,” says Maxwell. “But trying to do it yourself is a definite no-no!” Max Salon carries human hair imported from Italy, North Africa and Ethiopia, which starts at $150 per bag. She also carries hair that can be custom-blended with highlights and low lights to perfectly match an individual’s hair color and texture. Prices for this type of hair start at $300. “A lot of people are discouraged from getting weaves because they have bought bad hair that gets matted and tangled easily. You can’t buy tangle-free hair for $30. Getting a good weave is an investment because you get what you pay for.” Maxwell says most people run into problems when they leave the weave in too long or practice poor maintenance. “The key is being educated on maintaining and styling,” she said. “Weaves can actually be very beneficial because one’s natural hair is not exposed to any heat, curlers, or chemicals, which promotes new growth.”
About Braids
Braiding, which became popular nearly 20 years ago, is still worn today by women and men of all ages. A lot of people choose to get braids for convenience, while others do it for a style change or to give their natural hair a rest from heat and chemicals. People also wear braids to help grow hair and repair hair loss or damaged hair.

Braids are a great time saver! A lot of little girls get braids, especially in the summer when they swim and when it's time for school to start. Braids make it easier for busy parents who don't have time to style their kid's hair every day. And with proper conditioning and maintenance, the hair can still be long and healthy like this little girl pictured here. Isn't she beautiful! |
